MIS & Associates Sdn Bhd specializes in human resource consulting and training. Majority of our clients are multinational organizations and local conglomerates in Malaysia. MIS is established since 1983.


Annually, we conduct a Compensation and Benefits Survey of the Manufacturing and Electronics Industry in Malaysia.

MIS Founder

Mr. Ngo Tuan Siong is the Executive Director and Principal Consultant of MIS & Associates Sdn Bhd. He has more than 40 years of consultancy experience in compensation studies and human resource management.


He has an extensive background in developing customized total remuneration programmes (design or restructuring), job evaluation and performance appraisal management. He has conducted assignments for a wide range of medium-sized to large and diversified groups of local and multinational companies.


Prior to the setting up of his own consultancy company in 1981, he was a Consultant with PA International Consultants for 5 years and headed the Compensation Division and had worked as an engineer overseas.


Mr. Ngo holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Honours) as well as a postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.


In the last 40 years, he has designed, conducted and managed compensation and HR-related assignments in several business sectors including:

  • Charlie Wan
  • Charlie is graduated from MBA Degree – University of Bath (UK). He was certified as Workplace Trainer- the Australian College of Applied Psychology, Certified Developer and Assessor in Competency (Australian based) Training and Education and Certified Training Professional - ARTDO-ITD. He is also a trainer in competency-performance and Zig Zilgar Training Systems - Selling, Self-Success, Presentation and Customer Service. At the same time, he also work as Senior HR Consultant from year 2002 to Present. He as a Training & Service Manager of establish NGO Centre, Service/ Industrial Sales Manager, Senior Lecturer for Australian Twining Business Degree, Quality Assurance Specialist (Pioneering work – Malaysia). He also actively involved in several Job Evaluation assignments conducted By MIS.

  • Ts Dr Norziana Yahya
  • Ts Dr Norziana Yahya is a Senior lecturer at Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Perlis Branch, Malaysia. Holding degree and Phd in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), major in Software Engineering. She worked with MIS & Associates Sdn Bhd as System Consultant for more than 15 years. She is currently teaching Project Management, Information Technology, ICT in Industries, Big Data, and other computer science related courses. Her area of expertise includes project management, web services, system integration, and web application development. Her professional profile has derived to the field of web-based application development with more than 20 years experiences in IT related projects. She has diverse technical experience in IT related field such as designing IT solutions that will improve the company's efficiency, examining issues related to IT structure, evaluating workflows of company's information system, consults on server-side maintenance issues such as equipment installation, troubleshoot failure system and resolve problems.

  • Deena Abraham
  • Deena's hands-on approach to engaging with organizations comes from a career spanning more than 30 years mostly in Human Resource in multi industry local conglomerates and two multinationals in the food and chemical sectors. Her capability to advise, train, set up or strengthen Human Resource functional teams, processes, policies and development initiatives ranges from Operational HR (payroll, industrial relations, trade union activities, placement, on-boarding, HR systems, lay-offs, etc) to Strategic HR (manpower planning, talent acquisition, talent development, formalised succession management, compensation directions, etc). Her view is that learning is not an end in itself but an enabler to realise the immediate and long-term agenda for the organisation. Deena has a Masters Degree in Sociology from Loyola Institute of Social Sciences and a Certificate in Human Resources from UCLA.


  • Chan Wang Tak
  • Chan has in more than 30 years' experience in human resource management and consultancy. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Lincolnshire, UK. He is an experienced course facilitator, having conducted training for banks, commercial organizations, factories, GLCs both in management and specialised human resource management programs. In consultancy, he has serviced both multinationals and local conglomerates. He has served as a Panel Member of the Industrial Court of Malaysia, is presently an elected councillor of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management, and is one of its senior consultants. He is a Pakar Industri (PIND) under Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran Series.
